Prof. Yossi Dahan is the heads CLB’s Human Rights Department and specializes in labor law and workers’ rights, social justice and the right to education. Prof. Dahan earned his Ph.D. from Columbia University, and served as a research associate at Oxford University’s Centre for the Study of Social Justice, and a visiting scholar at New York University’s Taub Center for Israel Studies. Prof. Dahan is the founder and chairperson of Adva Center – a social justice policy analysis and advocacy institution and serves as a public representative at the Israel’s National Labor Court. Prof. Dahan is also an editorial board member of Van Leer Jerusalem Institute’s Theory and Criticism journal, and a board member of the Association of Environmental Justice in Israel.
