יוסי דהאן הוא פרופסור חבר במרכז האקדמי במשפט ולעסקים ומנהל חטיבת זכויות האדם. פרופ' דהאן הוא מחברם של הספרים תיאוריות של צדק חברתי (האוניברסיטה הפתוחה, 2013) צדק חינוכי הפרטה ומטרות החינוך (מוסד ון ליר והקיבוץ המאוחד, 2018). הוא גם עורכם שלה הספרים להמציא אומה, יחד עם הנרי וסרמן (האוניברסיטה הפתוחה, 2006), Global Justice and International Labour Rights. (Cambridge University Press 2016)  יחד עם חנה לרנר ופאינה מילמן-סיון. תחומי המחקר ופרסומיו של פרופ' דהאן הם בתחומים הבאים: דיני עבודה, פילוסופיה פוליטית, משפט וחברה, זכויות אדם ופילוסופיה של חינוך.

פרופ' דהאן הוא ממייסדי מרכז אדוה לחקר החברה בישראל ומשמש כיושב ראש הוועד המנהל של מרכז אדוה. הוא ממייסדי ועורכי אתר העוקץ, חבר הוועד המנהל של המרכז האקדמי למשפט ועסקים, חבר הוועד המנהל של העמותה לצדק סביבתי וחבר מועצת מערכת של כתב העת "תיאוריה וביקורת". פרופ' דהאן שימש כעמית מחקר במרכז לחקר צדק חברתי באוניברסיטת אוקספורד באנגליה ועמית מחקר במרכז טאוב באוניברסיטת ניו יורק.
